To reminisce or not to reminisce

Meaningful

Time flies. I'm here for 3 months already. I feel that my life is getting more meaningful recently. I love the feeling of having exam here. Perhaps it's bcz of the courses that i enrolled for this semester. Required a lot of study but it's interesting. The professors here will not emphasize on students' exam performance. My social psy's professor used to said this 'Don't think of how well you perform, think of how much you understand all these information and how's it applicable to our daily life.' I'm please to hear that but i coudnt accept the statement completely as i'm an international student who pay twice more than the regular students here and the currency rate is 1:3.5. Anyway, i ll try my best to maximise both my understanding and performance.
Recently, i have came to know a few type of people in this society and i have learned couple of things. 'Lie when it's necessary to lie' ' Fight for your rights' 'Try your best to negotiate/ bargain' 'Since it doesnt harm anyone, why not?' 'He/she's taking advantages from you, so don't feel sorry to act in the similar way", to name but a few. It's very radical but it's the way to survive in this society. 'Li Li, don't be so honest, no one will appreciate it.' Thanks gen. I will take your words. There are much more to learn. I'm not mature and tough enough to survive in such realistic society. Despite all these, i'm really glad that i'm here =)
