To reminisce or not to reminisce

Classical Conditioning
Sunday, November 25, 2007
hi everyone...i hv hesitated for couple of times whether to start blogging or not n eventually i'm here. it's nt my first time blogging here. I used to blog few years ago, bt i had stopped blogging due to some personal reason. Pavloc's conditioning study best describes my feeling toward blogging. From a neutral stimulus, it turns out to be conditioned stimulus that elicit conditioned response, which is the fear response. And what's the unconditioned stimulus in this case? Undoubtedly, my past. In other words, the chain goes as below:

US(past)------ UR (fear)

NS(blogging) + US (past)-------UR (fear)

CS(blogging) ------- CR (fear)

Genearally, extinction might occur if CR is repeatedly presented without the UC. To date, i think that the extinction in this paradigm hasnt occur yet. All i need is my willingness to accept my past, instead of trying to painstakingly forget all these 'truth'.Ok, stop craping! I think i'm realy sick with all these psy theory..hw good if i can apply it without study..let see hw i do on my finals...

Ok so why today? why not i start blogging ytd/tomorrow/few months later? The reason is, today's my fren's birthday and i promise her that she ll be my 1st blog reader if i create my own blog.I duno what to do beside sending e-card 2 her. 21st birthday is her super big day, so as a good fren of hers, i tink i hv 2 put more effort. I hope she ll love this as her birthday gift...shyan, happy birthday =)
